Revlon’s Midnight Affair is a deep dark blue, almost bordering on the black end of the spectrum; a darkened denim. I’m not sure if this is one of the newer colors that just came out, or if it’s been out, but if you like blues you’ll want this one. This is two coats, and as a plus it dried very quick. Once it was cured I added Deborah Lippmann’s Today Was a Fairytale on top as a neat little gradient.

Pull Me Close China Glaze

I found the entire Magnetix collection at my local beauty supply and I grabbed a few of them. This is Pull Me Close (the entire line has magnetic based named). It’s a blue/gray polish that turns really dark when the magnet comes close. The dark colors look really neat against the blue color. 

As you can see I definitely need more time to work with these. The idea is really neat, but the execution of it could be better, it seemed like the magnet that came with my bunch isn’t as strong as I’d would have hoped, and yes, I did touch the magnet to my nails quite a bit.

Have you tried any of the magnetic polishes out there? How did yours go?
