Ghostbusters Slime nerdy nails!

Before I get into it, I would like to start off by dedicating this to Flora (hi Flora!!) who encouraged me to keep up the nerdfight, so without further ado, I ain't afraid of no ghost.

I'd been sitting on a Ghostbusters mani for a while, I knew I wanted to incorporate slime into somehow but I couldn't think of a proper way. Then while shopping at Jo-Ann I came across some old school neon green puffy paint (remember that stuff?), and I knew I had to try it.

The puffy paint is so neon that my camera freaked out every time I focused on it, but this is so much brighter in person. The rest of the mani is all China Glaze, Liquid Leather, White on White, and Hey Sailor.

Orly Lucky Duck with Pretty & Polished Valentino

 Two posts in one day?! I know, I'm as shocked as you.Though I do think Lucky Duck is beautiful, I thought it was missing that something extra, so I topped it with indie polish Pretty & Polished Valentino.It's one in a long line of black and white glitters that have been popping up since She-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named started it all.I think out of all of them, Valentino is my favorite. There is no shimmer in the polish, and most importantly, no bar glitters (I do not like them, blah). You can buy Pretty and Polished here but I don't think there is any in stock.

What's your stance on bar glitter, and what do you think of all the B&W polishes coming out?

Orly's Lucky Duck is a beautiful jade creme that seems to me to be a dupe of OPI Jade is the New Black and also Revlon's Emerald. I'll have to do a comparison post later on to see how close they are.
Application was flawless as they always are with Orly.

April MyGlam Bag Review

I know this is a deviation from my normal posting, but I figured since I had it, that I'd review the newest MyGlam bag. 

I have recently been researching into the best makeup testing companies, and decided to try both MyGlam and Birchbox.

I got my first Glam bag this afternoon, and in all honesty, I'm not too sure why everyone is so pleased with it. 

With that being said, let's break it down!

SpaRitual Rusted Lux Gold Infused Polish

I’ve only recently come to know about SpaRitual. They are an eco-conscious beauty company with a line of polishes that are vegan friendly and free of DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde. They have been coming out with some really unique colors, and I’ve been digging everything!

This is from their Spring/Summer 2012 collection Gold, and is called Rusted Lux. It’s actually infused with real gold (as the entire collection is). How neat! 

The color is just breathtaking; I had so many people stop and ask what I was wearing. I’m not even a fan of golds usually but this is just too beautiful to pass up. This is three coats here, because you need a bit of build up to get the gold to pop.

Avengers Nail Art

I recently found some unofficial minimalist Avengers poster art here and I fell in love. I’d love to continue on with the entire collection when I get time. Hawkeye’s logo isn’t as straight as I would have hoped for, and the green I used for Hulk’s DNA disappeared when I took the picture, but I assure you that it’s there and a different color. 

Are you as excited for the new Avengers movie as I am??
